Working Principle: Rough rice (12% moisture content) is dehulled through laboratory grade Hulling machine (M/S Satake Pvt. Ltd., Japan) and subsequently milled through laboratory grade Milling machine (Ambala Associates, India). After milling of rice, broken rice is separated out through a plastic hand grader (Ambala associates, India) to obtain Head rice recovery percentage.
