Name of the parameter: Total crude protein estimation by Kjeldahl Method
Working Principle: The N2 of the sample protein is converted to (NH4)2 SO4 during digestion with H2SO4. In Kjeldahl apparatus, liberated NH3 is collected in boric acid, that was titrated with acid and N2 content is calculated.
Application/Scope: Estimation of crude total protein content of sample.
